Practice Gap / Need and Course Description:Much of what is known about what constitutes a successful analysis or which factors contribute to a failed analysis is obtained from accounts of analysts in the form of case reports or journal articles. Even process recordings are filtered through the mind of the analyst. This talk reports on data collected directly from former patients who completed their analysis. Patients report on the clinical factors that from their experience contributed to a successful analysis and which clinical factors contributed to a failed analysis.
After attending this presentation, participants will be able to:
1.     Describe factors that promoted positive analytic outcomes for patients and factors that result in negative analytic outcomes for patients.
2.     Apply the findings of the clinical outcomes research to current analytic work.
*** No Partial Credit Given. You must arrive within 10 minutes of the start time and stay until 10 minutes of the end time to receive credit.
