Practice Gap/Need and Course Description:

The purpose of my presentation is an interdisciplinary approach, from the perspective of a literary critic and academic analyst to the work of a writer (Manuel Puig), and a psychoanalyst (Sandor Ferenczi)-with especial interest in their radical experiments. Or, as established in the title, the radical experiments in Puig’s dialogical novels and Ferenczi’ mutual analysis.

After attending this presentation, participants will be able to:

1.    To describe the innovative technique and theory of the Hungarian analyst Sandor Ferenczi. 

2.     To apply an interdisciplinary perspective, presented in the novels by the Argentine writer Manuel Puig, to Ferenczi’s experimental analytic practice and theory.
