On Being a Candidate: Its Impact on the Analytic Process

Dr. Ehrlich's paper explores the complex effects of the experience of being a candidate on the analyses conducted while in psychoanalytic training.  Strikingly few papers have explored this important area.  The author focuses on enactments related to the analyst's candidacy, and illustrates his views with clinical examples.
