This year's MPF Benefit will be held November 14, from 7:30 to 11 p.m. at the Somerset Inn ballroom.  Prepare to have your spirits lifted with an evening filled with comedy featuring the CAPITOL STEPS.

The CAPITOL STEPS is a troupe of Congressional staffers-turned-comedians who travel the States satirizing the very people and places that once employed them.  Since they began, the CAPITOL STEPS have recorded 23 albums, including their latest, "Between Iraq and a Hard Place."  They've been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, and PBS, and can be heard 4 times a year on National Public Radio stations nationwide during their "Politics Takes a Holiday" radio specials. The New York Times described the CAPITOL STEPS as "...irrepressible satirists ...who are puncturing the powerful with their scattershot onslaught of comedy."

This will be an evening dedicated to fun and laughter and will finish with a wonderful dessert table after-glow.  We look forward to seeing all of you there.

Tickets are $125; student discount is $65.00  The Somerset Inn is located at 2601 West Big Beaver Road, Troy, MI 48084.
