Psychotherapy Fellowship

This program is a one-year clinically based Fellowship designed to illustrate psychoanalytic therapy in action. Clinical work with children and adolescents is presented, as well as work with adults.

Two programs are offered: one in Farmington Hills and one in Ann Arbor.  Participants will meet once a week for 1½ hour class sessions throughout the academic year with MPI and guest Faculty.  Instructors, each of whom is a psychoanalyst, will present case material from their own work with patients of a range of diagnoses in order to illustrate psychoanalytic therapy in actual practice.

The Fellowship is ideally suited for mental health clinicians who are in practice, recently graduated, or are trainees in their respective fields (psychiatry, psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or nursing).  It is also useful as preparation for clinicians who may in the future consider more extensive training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy or psychoanalysis.

Tuition:      $750.00
