The Continuing Education Division of the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute offers a two year Adult Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Educational Program (APPEP) for mental health professionals who work primarily with adults.  The program combines teaching of theory, psychopathology and technique, with particular emphasis on clinical applications.  In addition to the theoretical courses, clinical case conferences are offered throughout the two years, with both short and long term treatments presented by members of the class.

Classes meet twice weekly during the academic year with summers off, and are taught by faculty of the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute.  The complete curriculum is available for download here
