Scholarships
Drs. Samuel G. and Geraldine G. Reisman Scholarships were established using a generous gift received from them by the Michigan Psychoanalytic Foundation in December, 2000. These Reisman Scholarships are awarded annually. Partial assistance for tuition will be awarded on the basis of merit and demonstrated need to support students who are enrolled in the following programs:
- Adult Psychoanalytic Training
- Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Training
- Advanced Training in Adult Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
- Child Development and Clinical Issues Program
- Fellowship Program
This gift was inspired by the wish to make the Institute's training efforts more accessible. The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of merit and demonstrated need. Applications are due in mid-summer, and the partial assistance for tuition will be awarded by early September.
