Donald Silver, M.D.
Lecturer, Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute

The goals of Shakespeare and Psychoanalysis are to direct our focus to what is known and what appears relevant among repeated themes in the Poet’s plays and poems in relationship to his early development as a means of understanding how Shakespeare came to achieve insight into his own inner struggle with love and hate, anxiety, ambition, jealously, loneliness, loss, and guilt.  The plays and poems that are relevant to these goals will be studied.
