Advanced Training in Adult Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
This intensive 3-year program, meeting one evening per week for two seminars, is designed for licensed mental health professionals who are currently practicing psychotherapy and who are interested in further developing their clinical understanding and skills in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Participants attend didactic courses, clinical case conferences, and clinical supervision. Criteria for enrollment include a license to practice psychotherapy in Michigan and malpractice insurance coverage for clinicians. Personal psychoanalysis or psychoanalytic psychotherapy is strongly recommended.
Opportunities are available for non-mental health professionals with a special interest in psychoanalytic thought to take this program without the clinical component.
To apply for this year's program, complete the application form and submit by June 30, 2012. If you need more information, a detailed description of the program, including application procedures, tuition and fees, and curriculum, is available in our documents section.
