The Ann Arbor Committee of MPI, in collaboration with the University of Michigan School of Music, will be presenting a program on performance anxiety. This program will be of interest to anyone who experiences anxiety in public or social situations or who coaches and teaches performers, including musicians, students of all disciplines, athletes, public speakers, and writers.
Panelists include Howard Shevrin, Ph.D., psychoanalyst, author, and Sigourney Award recipient; William Bolcom and Joan Morris, international performers and Guggenheim recipient. Julie Jaffee Nagel, Ph.D., a graduate of the Juilliard School and the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute, will serve as moderator.
